1. Who can use Kodapacks
You must be an adult and it must be legal where you live.
Kodapacks is available to people aged 18 or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) in regions where purchasing sealed virtual products backed by physical collectibles is lawful. By creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate. We may verify identity and age at any time and suspend accounts that fail verification.
2. What a pack is
A pack is a purchase of one randomly selected card from a published pool. You always receive a card.
Each pack has a fixed price and a published pool of eligible cards with stated odds. Opening a pack executes a provably fair selection of one pool entry. Every pool entry corresponds to a live third-party marketplace listing (currently eBay) that Kodapacks has matched, priced and reserved for the pool. Pack purchases are final once the selection is executed.
3. Locked listings and sell-back
Your pull locks a specific listing at a specific price. You can take that price as credit at any time.
When you pull a card, the matched listing and its price are locked to your account. You may convert the card to site credit equal to 100% of the locked price ("sell-back") at any time while it is in the locked state. Sell-back is instant and irreversible. If a locked listing becomes unavailable before you request shipping, we will substitute an equivalent or better card, or credit you the locked price, at our discretion.
4. Shipping and redemption
Request shipping and we buy the listing and route it to you.
On a shipping request we purchase the locked listing and route it through our consolidation partner for inspection and packing. Shipping fees and free-shipping thresholds are published on the Shipping page. Title to the physical card passes to you on delivery. You are responsible for providing an accurate address and for any duties or taxes outside the United States.
5. Credit, deposits and withdrawals
Deposits are for buying packs. Credit from sell-backs can be withdrawn.
Site credit has no cash value except as described here. Deposited funds may be used to purchase packs and shipping. Credit arising from sell-backs, rakeback and referral commissions may be withdrawn to a supported method subject to identity verification and anti-fraud checks. Payment processing is provided by third-party providers under their own terms.
6. Provably fair
Every roll can be verified after the fact.
Pack openings use a committed server seed, a client seed you can set, and a nonce. After each opening we reveal the inputs so you can recompute the outcome. If you believe an outcome was not generated correctly, contact support within 30 days.
7. Prohibited conduct
Don't cheat, launder, automate or impersonate.
You may not use bots or automation, exploit bugs, operate multiple accounts to abuse promotions, use the service to launder funds, resell locked cards outside the platform, or impersonate Kodapacks or its partners. Violations may result in forfeiture of credit and account termination.
8. Intellectual property and trademarks
Card names and images belong to their owners. We're not affiliated with them.
Pokémon, One Piece and other card game names, characters and artwork are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners. Kodapacks is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Bandai, or eBay. The Kodapacks name, logo and site design are our property.
9. Liability
We provide the service as-is and cap our liability at what you paid us in the last 12 months.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kodapacks is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid to Kodapacks in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
